About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Inbound Team Leader to oversee daily inbound warehouse operations and ensure the efficient receipt, inspection, and processing of goods. This role is responsible for leading the inbound team, coordinating receiving activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring smooth communication with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to support operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise daily inbound warehouse operations, including receiving, unloading, inspection, and put-away activities
Coordinate inbound delivery schedules with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport providers
Ensure accurate receiving, documentation, and inventory transactions in WMS/ERP systems
Investigate and resolve inbound discrepancies, damages, and inventory variances
Monitor inventory accuracy and maintain operational KPIs
Coach and motivate team members to achieve productivity and service targets
Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures and workplace safety standards
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support efficient warehouse operations
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and inventory accuracy
Requirements
Secondary education or above; Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline preferred
5–8 years of warehouse/logistics experience with at least 2–3 years in a team leader or supervisory role
Proven experience in inbound logistics, receiving, and dock operations
Experience coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport providers
Proficiency in WMS and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of inventory control, receiving procedures, and discrepancy investigation
Forklift license, WMS certification, and workplace safety training are advantages
Experience in high-volume environments or food distribution is preferred
Working Conditions/Working Hours
Warehouse and office-based environment
Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods
Mon – Sat (5 days' work, roster on Sat)
9 hours per day between 09:00 – 20:00 (inclusive of one hour lunch break)
Division head will communicate with staff of actual shift schedule individually
