Role Description This is a full-time Project Manager role based in Johor Baharu, offered on a hybrid work arrangement that allows a combination of on-site presence and work-from-home flexibility. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project delivery for real estate and infrastructure initiatives, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of project activities. Daily responsibilities include managing stakeholders, supervising contractors and vendors, monitoring progress against milestones, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role also involves identifying risks, implementing mitigation plans, preparing project reports, and supporting continuous improvement in processes and execution. Collaboration across internal teams and external partners is key to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with JLG’s sustainability and digital-first objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills, including Project Management and Expediting, with experience leading complex real estate or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience functioning as an Expeditor, coordinating materials, services, and documentation to keep project timelines and deliverables on track.
  • Proficiency in Inspection and quality control activities to ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of Logistics Management, including coordination of supply chains, site deliveries, and vendor management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., PMP or equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, communicate clearly, and prepare concise reports and documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accountability for outcomes.
  • Experience in real estate, infrastructure, or industrial development environments, and familiarity with sustainable and digital-first project practices is beneficial.
