About the Company
GSY International Groups is a multinational enterprise with operations in the FMCG sector. As part of our growing we are now looking for an experience Cashier to join our team in supermarkets or retails and support our regional operations in Johor Bahru(JB).
Job Responsibilities
- Handle cash, card, and e-wallet transactions accurately
- Scan items and ensure correct pricing
- Issue receipts and manage cash drawer responsibly
- Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and refunds politely
- Maintain cleanliness and order at the cashier counter
- Follow company SOPs, policies, and security procedures
- Perform opening and closing cashier duties
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum secondary school education
- Prior cashier or retail experience is an advantage
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
