Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive General Manager – Operations to lead and manage end-to-end logistics and transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, service quality, and continuous business improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day logistics and warehouse operations
• Develop strategic operational plans and SOP improvements
• Lead and manage drivers, operations team, and support staff
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations
• Monitor fleet performance, delivery schedules, and productivity
• Manage budget, cost control, and operational KPIs
• Liaise with customers, vendors, government bodies, and internal departments
• Handle incident management, service recovery, and operational risks
• Support management with reporting and operational decision-making

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years experience in logistics/transportation/warehouse operations
• Proven leadership experience in operations management (preferably GM/AGM/Manager level)
• Strong understanding of fleet management & logistics processes
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics reporting systems
• Fluency in English & Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage)
• Able to commute to Klang office daily

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field
• Experience handling container haulage & warehouse operations
