The Role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee our accounting operations and support the financial foundation of our growing multi-outlet business.

The role is responsible for ensuring accurate accounting records, maintaining financial compliance, improving accounting processes, and leading the accounting team to support business growth.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing accounting functions within a fast-paced and expanding organization.

Accounting & Financial Management

• Maintain accurate general ledger, journal entries, and trial balances.
• Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
• Manage accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), cash management, and payment processes.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and outlet sales reconciliation.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Analyze budget vs. actual performance and highlight variances.
• Support management in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including taxation, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and statutory audits and implement audit recommendations.
• Maintain proper documentation for financial records and transactions.

Process Improvement

• Streamline accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement internal controls to prevent errors and financial risks.
• Recommend improvements in accounting systems and processes.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
• Assign work, monitor performance, and ensure accountability.
• Conduct periodic training on accounting standards, compliance, and accounting software usage.

Requirement

• Bachelor Degree in Finance and Accounting or ACCA, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance and accounts or related management roles.
• Experience in retail, multi-outlet, or fast-growing business environment will be an advantage.
• Experience managing accounting teams will be an advantage.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
