JDA WMS Hiring! Full Time Finance Executive (SAP system) in Selangor - Ricebowl

The Finance Executive will be responsible for day-to-day finance bookkeeping and accounting activities, with a focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing, month-end closing, and audit/tax support, utilizing the SAP system.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day finance bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities, including AP and AR data entries.
• Perform month-end closing processes in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide AP/AR data and reports to support timely, accurate audits and tax filings (direct and indirect).
• Maintain proper documentation and records for AP/AR transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist in reconciliations of AP/AR accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Actively participate in ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors, including system testing, to ensure project deliverables are completed within timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, sales, tax, audit) to support finance operations.

Requirements

• Diploma, Degree, or Professional Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience using SAP system (ECC or S/4HANA) is required.
• Strong understanding of AP/AR processes and month-end closing procedures.
• Familiarity with direct and indirect tax requirements and audit processes.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Adaptable and proactive, with willingness to take on ad-hoc tasks and system testing as required.
