Job Summary

Develop and maintain full-stack web applications, build AI-powered modules, and implement CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using ReactJS with TypeScript for frontend and Python frameworks such as Django or FastAPI for backend to deliver robust web solutions
• Build and enhance modules for data-intensive systems incorporating complex AI-powered workflows to improve system capabilities
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to automate software deployment and ensure continuous integration
• Develop automated testing scripts and quality assurance frameworks to maintain high software reliability and performance
• Collaborate closely with team members to provide technical insights and feedback that improve code quality and project outcomes
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions to ensure scalable and maintainable system design

Required competencies and certifications

• Demonstrated minimum 3 years of experience in full-stack web application development
• Experience working effectively within a development team and using CI/CD tools such as GitLab
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, AngularJS) to develop customized front-end components
• Proficiency in Python web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask) or backend frameworks (e.g., FastAPI), with preference for Django
• Understanding of DevOps principles and ability to automate software testing and deployment for containerized applications using tools like GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of software architecture principles, system design, and building resilient distributed systems
• Experience making technical decisions that balance performance, maintainability, and business requirements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience developing application software components involving AI and data analytics, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including data scientists and data engineers
• Experience using observability and monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry
• Familiarity with Government ICT & SS Management (IM8) policies and compliance requirements
