CAD Designer

Full-Time | Work From Home

Regimen is looking for a competent anddetail-oriented CAD Drafter to support our residential design-and-buildprojects in Singapore.

The successful applicant will assist in preparing authoritysubmission drawings, construction drawings, detailed drawings and drawingrevisions for landed houses and residential renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update CAD drawings for authority submissions.
• Produce construction drawings, working drawings and detailed drawings.
• Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections and construction details.
• Revise drawings based on instructions from the architectural, design and project teams.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and interior design requirements.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, properly dimensioned and suitable for site construction.
• Maintain proper drawing records, file naming and revision control.
• Assist in preparing presentation drawings and supporting documents when required.
• Respond promptly to drawing amendments required by the project or submission team.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Architecture, Building, Interior Design, Drafting or a related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Experience preparing architectural, authority submission and construction drawings.
• Able to understand architectural plans, sections, elevations and construction details.
• Knowledge of Singapore authority submission requirements and residential construction practices is preferred.
• Careful, organised and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to meet drawing deadlines and respond promptly to revisions.
• Good communication skills and willingness to coordinate remotely with the project team.

Work-From-Home Requirements

As this is a full-time work-from-home position, applicantsmust have:

• A suitable computer capable of handling CAD work.
• Legally licensed AutoCAD or other software required to perform the work.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection.
• A suitable home working environment.
• Availability during the company’s normal working hours for discussions, coordination and drawing revisions.
