Job Description

Responsibilities

Summary:

Supporting final inspection verification process improvement initiative, perform inspections, checks, tests, and inspection of incoming materials, parts and components used in the assembled jobs.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute Incoming Quality Check, Quality In-Process and Outgoing Quality Check, per assigned task.
  • Provide Job status and Inspection report findings to Team Leads/ Management.
  • Support in the final verification process prior to job approval and job receipt.
  • Provide guidance to colleagues and mentor new hires
  • Assist in generating checklist for FA projects and sustaining projects
  • Support in the preparation and issuance of related DMR/ CAR
  • Communicate Quality Alerts when applicable
  • Perform complete FA dimensional checks.
  • Assist with Supplier Site source inspection, Audit and Report documentation
  • Mechanically inclined and hands-on individual.
  • Produce quality work on time, ensure associates observe in-line quality protocols.
  • Performing other duties as assigned, including minor touch up/ repair works as needed.
  • Willing to be trained in the following areas: reading drawing, inspection techniques, quality methodologies, and use of inspection apparatus and testing equipment.
  • Use appropriate forms transactions such as Incoming/ Outgoing Checklist, Parts Replacement Form, Torque Check Form, etc
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Sustain a safe and clean working environment.

Pre-requisites:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
  • 2 - 3 years’ hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Possess working knowledge of inspection techniques, tools and equipment used in the inspection and testing of cable, harness, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
