Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and compile monthly and annual accounting records.
• Maintain and update General Ledger (GL) transactions accurately.
• Review and verify Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) transactions.
• Prepare and review monthly AR & AP reports.
• Monitor bank transactions and balances on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Extract and share daily bank inflow transactions with the AR team from the bank portal.
• Extract and share daily bank outflow transactions with the AP team from the bank portal.
• Manage Fixed Deposit placements and banking matters, including account opening and closing.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation and assist in preparing management accounts.
• Compile monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet (BS) for Finance Manager review.
• Update quarterly financial results vs budget for Finance Manager review.
• Maintain Balance Sheet schedules and summaries, including accrual and prepayment schedules.
• Assist the Finance Manager in reviewing monthly OPEX results vs budget.
• Review and maintain Fixed Asset register and depreciation schedules.
• Assist in product standard costing analysis.
• Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma in Accounting/Finance or equivalent with minimum 5 years of working experience, OR

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance with minimum 2 years of working experience.

• Familiarity to operate Public Bank Enterprise online banking transactions is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and SQL Accounting System.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
