Logistics Solutions Manager

Job Summary

The Logistics Solutions Manager is responsible for planning, developing, and managing logistics solutions to improve supply chain efficiency, optimize transportation operations, reduce costs, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The role involves working closely with clients, operations teams, warehouse personnel, and external partners to deliver effective logistics strategies and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics and supply chain solutions based on client requirements.
• Analyze logistics operations and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
• Plan and coordinate transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution activities.
• Manage customer accounts and provide customized logistics solutions.
• Monitor logistics performance using KPIs and prepare operational reports.
• Negotiate with transport providers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and relevant Singapore laws.
• Lead and supervise logistics and operations teams to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, warehouse, and finance departments.
• Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for logistics initiatives.
• Support business development by designing competitive logistics solutions and preparing proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, warehousing, inventory control, and transportation management.
• Experience in logistics planning, cost analysis, and process improvement.
• Good understanding of Singapore logistics regulations and industry practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, WMS, TMS, or similar).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Leadership experience with strong team management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in 3PL, freight forwarding, e-commerce logistics, or supply chain consulting.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Project management experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
