Technician – Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, systems, or machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
• Replace or repair defective components using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and service reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Test equipment after repairs or installations to verify proper functionality.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to resolve technical problems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety requirements.
• Assist in equipment upgrades, modifications, and commissioning activities.
• Participate in training programs to stay current with new technologies, equipment, and procedures.
