Job Descriptions:
Installation & Project Delivery
- Own the end-to-end installation pipeline from signed proposal through commissioning and TNB approval.
- Ensure every installation is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to technical specifications.
- Monitor project timelines and proactively resolve delays, bottlenecks, and operational risks.
- Track all signed-but-not-installed projects to ensure timely scheduling and customer communication.
- Maintain visibility across the entire project pipeline through CRM and operational reporting systems.
Contractor & Field Operations Management
- Manage and coordinate outsourced installation partners and subcontractor crews.
- Monitor crew capacity, productivity, utilization, and installation quality.
- Establish and enforce service-level agreements (SLAs) and performance standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to audit workmanship, safety compliance, and project execution.
- Support the development of an in-house installation and engineering capability as installation volumes grow.
Regulatory & Compliance Management
- Oversee all regulatory submissions and approvals required for residential solar projects.
- Manage SEDA registrations, NEM applications, ATAP submissions, and related documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with TNB, Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA), and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) requirements.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation throughout the installation lifecycle.
Procurement & Supply Chain Management
- Lead procurement activities across solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, electrical components, and balance-of-system (BOS) materials.
- Build and manage supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing, reliable lead times, and consistent product availability.
- Negotiate volume-based pricing agreements as installation volumes increase.
- Oversee purchase orders, inventory planning, stock availability, and supplier performance.
- Manage inbound quality control processes and verify all materials before installation scheduling.
Warehouse & Inventory Operations
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch.
- Implement inventory tracking systems and maintain accurate stock records.
- Minimize material shortages, wastage, and inventory holding costs while ensuring installation readiness.
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct post-installation quality inspections and audits.
- Ensure complete photo documentation, commissioning records, warranty registration, and customer handover documentation.
- Develop and improve operational SOPs, quality standards, and installation processes.
- Drive continuous improvements in installation speed, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Report weekly on installation throughput, project backlog, crew utilization, procurement performance, and installation costs.
- Monitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Provide accurate installation forecasts and operational insights to company leadership.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in solar operations, electrical contracting, renewable energy project delivery, or a closely related field
- Proven experience managing residential solar installation projects, subcontractors, and multiple concurrent projects from planning to completion.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysia's residential solar industry, including SEDA, NEM, ATAP, TNB interconnection processes, residential solar PV systems, and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) requirements.
- Experience in procurement, supplier/vendor management, inventory planning, project tracking, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
- Proficient in CRM and project tracking tools.
- Possess a valid driving licence and own transport, with willingness to travel for site inspections across Klang Valley and surrounding areas.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving processes.
*Contract basis role: 6 months
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
