  • Track all signed-but-not-installed projects to ensure timely scheduling and customer communication.
  • Maintain visibility across the entire project pipeline through CRM and operational reporting systems.

Contractor & Field Operations Management

  • Manage and coordinate outsourced installation partners and subcontractor crews.
  • Monitor crew capacity, productivity, utilization, and installation quality.
  • Establish and enforce service-level agreements (SLAs) and performance standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to audit workmanship, safety compliance, and project execution.
  • Support the development of an in-house installation and engineering capability as installation volumes grow.

Regulatory & Compliance Management

  • Oversee all regulatory submissions and approvals required for residential solar projects.
  • Manage SEDA registrations, NEM applications, ATAP submissions, and related documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance with TNB, Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA), and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) requirements.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation throughout the installation lifecycle.

Procurement & Supply Chain Management

  • Lead procurement activities across solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, electrical components, and balance-of-system (BOS) materials.
  • Build and manage supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing, reliable lead times, and consistent product availability.
  • Negotiate volume-based pricing agreements as installation volumes increase.
  • Oversee purchase orders, inventory planning, stock availability, and supplier performance.
  • Manage inbound quality control processes and verify all materials before installation scheduling.

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

  • Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch.
  • Implement inventory tracking systems and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Minimize material shortages, wastage, and inventory holding costs while ensuring installation readiness.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct post-installation quality inspections and audits.
  • Ensure complete photo documentation, commissioning records, warranty registration, and customer handover documentation.
  • Develop and improve operational SOPs, quality standards, and installation processes.
  • Drive continuous improvements in installation speed, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.

Reporting & Performance Management

  • Report weekly on installation throughput, project backlog, crew utilization, procurement performance, and installation costs.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Provide accurate installation forecasts and operational insights to company leadership.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in solar operations, electrical contracting, renewable energy project delivery, or a closely related field
  • Proven experience managing residential solar installation projects, subcontractors, and multiple concurrent projects from planning to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysia's residential solar industry, including SEDA, NEM, ATAP, TNB interconnection processes, residential solar PV systems, and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) requirements.
  • Experience in procurement, supplier/vendor management, inventory planning, project tracking, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
  • Proficient in CRM and project tracking tools.
