Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Clinic Assistant role based in Malacca, Malaysia. The Clinic Assistant supports daily clinic operations by welcoming patients, handling registration, and managing appointment bookings. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, assisting with receptionist duties, guiding patients through basic procedures, and ensuring waiting areas and consultation rooms remain organized. The role involves supporting healthcare professionals with non-clinical tasks, handling patient inquiries, updating records accurately, and facilitating smooth patient flow. The Clinic Assistant also helps maintain confidentiality, basic documentation, and a courteous, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact clearly and respectfully with patients and team members.
  • Candidates should possess Receptionist Duties experience, including managing front desk operations, appointments, and phone calls.
  • Candidates should possess Medical Terminology knowledge to support healthcare professionals and understand basic clinical documentation.
  • Candidates should possess Patient Care skills, including providing guidance, comfort, and assistance to patients in a professional manner.
  • Candidates should have basic computer literacy and familiarity with clinic or office systems for data entry and scheduling.
  • Candidates should demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Previous experience in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare setting is an advantage.
  • A relevant certificate or diploma in healthcare assistance, medical support, or a related field is beneficial.
