We leverage systematic methodologies ranging from hands-on site inspections to advanced drone and LiDAR surveys to deliver precision 2D AutoCAD drawings, actionable defect diagnoses, and practical repair solutions. We help property owners, developers, and asset managers protect their property value and maintain structural safety.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Building Surveyor to join our growing technical team.

In this role, you will work across our core services: conducting physical building inspections, diagnosing defects (dampness, cracks, concrete spalling, DLP snagging), planning rectification methods, and preparing accurate 2D as-built CAD drawings.

This role offers excellent mentorship and real-world field exposure for fresh graduates or junior technicians passionate about building pathology, technical drafting, and structural repair consultancy.

• Site Inspections & Defect Diagnosis: Perform thorough site assessments on residential, commercial, or industrial properties to identify defects, structural wear, and finishing faults.
• Rectification & Remedial Planning: Assist senior surveyors in preparing dilapidation reports, building condition assessment reports, and specifying practical repair methods/materials.
• Reporting & Client Liaison: Organize photographic logs, compile technical reports, and liaise with contractors and clients regarding inspection findings.
• As-Built Surveys & Technical Drafting: Conduct manual or laser dimension surveys on-site and produce clean, accurate 2D AutoCAD floor plans, elevations, and structural layouts.
  

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Building Surveying, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Building Technology.
• Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with 1–3 years of experience in defect inspection, site surveying, or drafting are preferred.
• Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD (2D drafting, floor plans, detailed elevation preparation).
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of building materials, construction methods, and common building defects (cracking, dampness, spalling).
• Field Readiness: Willingness to travel across project sites within Klang Valley/Malaysia, perform site walk-throughs, and work in varied site conditions.
• Key Attributes: High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a clear communication style.
