Job Summary

The Senior Civil & Structural Engineer (SRE) will supervise complex major building construction projects, ensuring quality and compliance. You will apply your expertise in civil and structural engineering to manage works including deep excavation, viaducts, foundation systems, and ground improvement.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil and structural engineering works on major building construction projects to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
• Lead project teams to deliver construction supervision for complex works such as deep excavation, viaducts, foundation systems, and ground improvement
• Manage site activities to meet project timelines and quality requirements, mitigating risks and resolving technical issues promptly
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to airside work environment requirements when applicable
• Apply engineering knowledge to review and approve construction methods and materials for structural integrity and safety
• Document and report project progress, challenges, and compliance status to senior management and regulatory bodies

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working in airside work environments and understanding of related operational requirements
• Completion of at least one project in the capacity of Senior Civil & Structural Engineer (SRE)
• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) of Singapore
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a Civil and Structural (C&S) engineer
