Job Responsibilities
- Manage purchasingactivities, including RFQs, price comparisons, negotiations, and Purchase Order (PO) issuance.
- Source new suppliers and alternative materials while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and payment status to ensure timely supply.
- Coordinate overseas purchases and shipments, including import and customs related documentation.
- Review market pricing and monitor raw material trends to achieve cost savings.
- Handle supplier documentation, including Delivery Orders (DO), invoices and replacement or credit note processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams on defective materials, replacement or credit note processes.
- Monitor inventory levels and support Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ensure sufficient stock availability.
- Verify third- party transporter invoices and source competitive logistics quotation when required.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and support stock count and audit activities.
- Perform other procurement and administrative duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement or a related field.
- Experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or a Manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Experience in overseas procurement, import coordination,_ and customs documentation_ is preferred.
- Knowledge of MRP, ERP, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
- Good command of English. Mandarin communication is an added advantage to liaise with suppliers in specific Asian markets.
Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
