Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Execute and manage electrical engineering projects independently from start to finish, ensuring compliance with specifications, timely delivery, and effective stakeholder communication in commercial, residential, and governmental sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Report budgeting, schedules, materials, and resource status directly to the Project Manager to support project tracking and decision-making
  • Independently execute projects from initiation to completion with minimal supervision, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and verify all tender submissions meet project specifications and compliance requirements
  • Oversee daily site operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely progress
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, main and sub-contractors to secure resources and meet project deadlines
  • Liaise with clients to manage expectations and provide regular updates on project status
  • Assess and ensure sufficient allocation of resources and manpower for project demands
  • Develop and sustain strong client relationships to foster trust and repeat business
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project and company objectives

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant electrical engineering experience in commercial, residential, or governmental projects
  • Ability to work independently and manage pressure to meet critical deadlines
  • Highly organized with effective time management skills to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite for project documentation and reporting

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Specialist Diploma in Construction Productivity (SDCP)
  • Class 3/3A driving license
