Job Summary

We are looking for highly passionate and responsible teachers to join our learning centre as IBDP Physics teachers. The successful candidate shall be tasked to deliver lessons in an engaging and dynamic manner, based on our curriculum and pedagogy, as well as establish relationships with our students to inspire loyalty and learning progress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IBDP level Physics lessons by executing detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Develop and refine lesson materials to support student learning and provide actionable feedback that drives measurable academic improvement
• Build rapport with students to motivate engagement and foster their academic potential
• Collaborate in curriculum development and conduct systematic reviews to enhance academic programs
• Design examination and assessment papers, including question papers, resit papers, and answer keys, ensuring alignment with learning objectives
• Administer invigilation duties, accurately mark exams and assessments, and maintain comprehensive records of student results
• Perform moderation duties for other academic modules to ensure consistency and quality of assessment

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience teaching Physics at IGCSE and IBDP levels with familiarity in IGCSE or International Baccalaureate curricula
• Bachelor’s degree in related disciplines; Master’s degree is an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to teach in multilingual environments and conduct academic assessments effectively
• Proficient in delivering online lessons using platforms such as Zoom and skilled in using software applications and productivity tools
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills to engage diverse learners
• Highly motivated with a positive work attitude and a strong sense of responsibility
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in related subjects
