Job Summary

Lead and manage renovation projects from site inspection to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery. Coordinate with stakeholders and oversee all aspects of interior fit-out works including carpentry, painting, and flooring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and take precise measurements to inform project planning
• Prepare detailed quotations, cost estimates, and material take-offs to support budgeting and procurement
• Read and interpret architectural and interior drawings to guide renovation execution
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise renovation projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring adherence to schedules
• Manage renovation works including carpentry, custom cabinets, wardrobes, showcases, ceiling installation, partition works, painting, flooring, and general interior fit-out tasks
• Coordinate effectively with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and site workers to ensure smooth project progress
• Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor work progress to meet deadlines
• Order materials and track deliveries to ensure timely availability at project sites
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and variation orders for accurate record-keeping
• Ensure all work complies with quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent renovation industry experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing renovation or interior fit-out projects
• Ability to prepare quotations and understand project costing
• Ability to read and interpret construction and shop drawings

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to support project documentation and communication
• Knowledge of AutoCAD to assist in drawing interpretation and project planning
• Class 3 driving license to facilitate site visits and material procurement
