Job Summary
The Assistant Centre Manager supports daily tuition centre operations, ensuring smooth workflows, excellent customer service, and effective coordination with parents, students, and tutors. This role offers growth opportunities and hands-on training in education management.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily tuition centre operations to maintain smooth and efficient workflows
- Deliver excellent customer service by welcoming parents and students and addressing enquiries via WhatsApp, phone, and walk-ins
- Schedule trial classes, make-up lessons, and tutor replacements to optimize class delivery
- Administer student enrolments, attendance tracking, and class record maintenance for accurate data management
- Prepare invoices and follow up on tuition fee payments to ensure timely collections
- Coordinate tutor schedules and assist with payroll preparation to support staff management
- Prepare classrooms before lessons and maintain a clean, organised learning environment
- Assist in planning and executing centre activities, workshops, and holiday programmes to enhance student engagement
- Create simple, engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms to promote centre activities
- Follow up with parents on student progress and class arrangements to support student success
- Collaborate closely with the Centre Manager to identify operational improvements and contribute to centre growth
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline
- Experience in administration, customer service, or education is advantageous but not mandatory
- Proficient in English and Mandarin communication to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, for administrative tasks
- Demonstrates responsibility, initiative, and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Organised and capable of multitasking in a busy setting
Other Information
Working Hours
- Weekdays: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM
- Weekends: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Off Days: 2 weekdays
