The Commis Chef assists senior chefs in food preparation and cooking while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and kitchen organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for daily service.
• Cook dishes according to recipes.
• Ensure food quality and consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations.
• Store food properly following HACCP guidelines.
• Monitor stock levels.
• Assist in receiving deliveries.
• Minimise food wastage.
• Follow all food safety regulations.
• Assist with mise en place.
• Support senior chefs during service.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by management.
