Job Description

Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment, delivering scalable and secure solutions that power Singapore’s digital payment ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • This role is responsible for end-to-end delivery of the solution, ensuring readiness across development, integration, testing, and production deployment.
  • Design, develop, enhance program UX capabilities to support various partners to be onboard to the program ecosystem.
  • Implement secure integration patterns to support frontend-to-server and server-to-server integration with multiple partners
  • Apply secure development practices, including secrets management, vulnerability management, threat modelling inputs, and secure-by-default designs.
  • Build and maintain automated quality controls: unit tests, API contract tests, integration tests, CI/CD quality gates, Terraform deployment code.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to operational runbooks/SLAs.
  • Proactive collaboration to lead identify and escalating impediments or risks that require attention to keep end-to-end delivery on track.
  • Perform other software engineering related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years hands-on experience in mobile development (iOS and Android) delivering production-grade mobile UI/UX with multiple integration services
  • Strong experience with iOS (Swift) with WebView bridging concepts and Android (Kotlin/Java)
  • Strong experience with AWS-native systems and operations
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins / Bitbucket
  • Strong experience with API Gateway / ALB, ECS/Fargate, RDS, S3, CloudWatch/CloudTrail, WAF (would be an advantageous)
  • Solid understanding of API security patterns and implementation: request signing (HMAC/signature validation), Authentication, nonce/timestamp anti-replay, idempotency design, secure secret handling
  • Good understanding of open-source libraries, their usage and vulnerability management.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and strong analytical and engineering skills to synthesize information and present status clearly and effectively.
