Lab Analyst

Our client isa leading company in manufacturing and sales of thermoplastic. The companyneeds Lab Analyst to support production process.

The role ofthe Lab Analyst includes:

·      Collaborate with laboratory analysts andtechnical personnel to evaluate semi-finished and finished materials, byperforming analytical, processing, and performance testing using advancedlaboratory instruments.

·      Develop, review, and maintain laboratoryprocedures, quality documentation, and safety records to ensure accuracy,regulatory compliance, and alignment with current operational standards.

·      Ensure laboratory equipment is properlymaintained and operational through routine inspections, preventive maintenance,and basic troubleshooting. Coordinate with equipment suppliers or technicalservice representatives to resolve complex instrument issues promptly.

·      Monitor laboratory inventory by tracking stocklevels, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring sufficientsupplies are available to support uninterrupted laboratory operations.

·      Work closely with the Production and Salesdepartments to provide technical support, investigate product-related issues,and contribute to effective problem-solving and process improvements.

·      Participate in laboratory quality management,ISO compliance initiatives, and workplace safety programs to promote a safeworking environment while adhering to applicable environmental, health, andsafety regulations.

 
Job Requirement:

• Degree/ Diploma in Chemical/Polymer/Material Engineering or Chemistry with several years' experience in the polymer industry.
• Experience in polymer material processing and testing will be an added advantage.
