Job Description

• Prepare, cook and present food according to the company’s standards.
• Ensure food quality, taste, portion and presentation are consistent.
• Assist with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations.
• Check ingredients and maintain sufficient stock for daily operations.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and work areas.
• Follow food safety, workplace safety and hygiene procedures.
• Monitor food wastage and control kitchen costs.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared on time.
• Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirements

• Able to prepare and cook a variety of dishes independently.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, kitchen hygiene and food safety.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long working hours.
• Responsible, hardworking and able to work well with the kitchen team.
