SEB Asia Limited Hiring! Full Time Assistant Purchasing Manager in Hong Kong - Ricebowl

We are looking for Assistant Purchasing Manager to drive and support our Finished Goods purchasing strategy in Kitchen Electrics, focusing on cost efficiency, quality standards, and sustainability goals. The incumbent will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize purchasing practices, strengthen supplier relationships and enhance supply chain performance effectively.

• Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers

• Foster strong supplier relationships and address performance issues to meet compliance standards

• Analyze market trends to negotiate cost-effective agreements and implement cost-reduction initiatives

• Participate in supplier negotiations to secure favorable contract terms, systematize processes for significant cost savings, and implement action plans to meet budget objectives

• Track project specifications, pricing, and timelines; escalate issues as needed

• Address and resolve supplier-related issues in logistics, quality, sustainable development etc.

• Collect and analyze purchasing data to support decision-making and strategy refinement

• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance overall supply chain effectiveness

Who we are looking for:

• Degree in Engineering, Purchasing or relevant disciplines

• 8+ years of work experience, including 5 years in purchasing

• Professional experience in supplier management and expert in costing and negotiation

• Knowledge of small domestic appliances, markets and suppliers

• Experience in Asian culture and people

• Comfortable in complex human and international networks

• Good level of communication, influencing, negotiation and management skills

• Fluent in English and Mandarin
