Position Title

Officer, Technical Records

Reporting To

Senior Executive

Position Summary

Responsible for managing and maintaining aircraft technical records for the A350, A330, B737NG, and B737 MAX fleets by ensuring accurate documentation, timely reporting, regulatory compliance, and proper archiving to support continued airworthiness and safe aircraft operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure aircraft technical records are complete, accurate, and compliant with Malaysia Airlines (MAB), CAAM, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Review, consolidate, and finalize technical logs, maintenance check packages, component replacement records, and other maintenance documentation for timely reporting and archiving.
  • Retrieve, verify, and provide historical maintenance records and supporting documents to facilitate engineering decisions and airworthiness compliance.
  • Monitor and close outstanding technical records findings within the required timelines.
  • Support Certificate of Airworthiness (C of A) renewals by preparing and validating the required aircraft records.
  • Maintain and update aircraft airworthiness records, including Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), modifications, repairs, and component history.
  • Support End of Lease (EOL) activities by consolidating, reviewing, and preparing aircraft technical records to meet lessor and regulatory documentation requirements.
  • Support digital records management initiatives, including Electronic Aircraft Maintenance Records (E-AMR) and AMOSeTL implementation, to improve operational efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications and Years of Experience

  • Minimum Diploma or SPM with 3 years’ experience in Engineering & Maintenance
  • 3 years of relevant working experience

Areas of Experience

  • Good knowledge in Aircraft Engineering Maintenance and Maintenance
  • Planning activities, system and processes, particularly Technical Records.

Skill & Knowledge

  • Command in English and BM both in written and spoken.
  • Competent in office tools (Microsoft Excel /Words).
