We're looking for an experienced Business Central Developer to lead a key integration modernisation project: assessing and refactoring existing OData V4 integrations into supported Business Central standard APIs or custom AL-built APIs. The role also covers general BAU support, troubleshooting, and minor enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess existing OData V4 services, endpoints, and integration dependencies
• Migrate suitable integrations to Business Central standard APIs; design custom APIs in AL where needed
• Implement secure authentication (OAuth 2.0 / Microsoft Entra ID) and API versioning best practices
• Troubleshoot integration, data consistency, and performance issues
• Conduct testing (unit, integration, UAT) and support production deployment
• Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams

Required Experience & Skills

• 3–5+ years hands-on Business Central (or Dynamics NAV) development experience
• Strong AL development and Business Central extension framework skills
• Proven experience with custom API design and OData V4 migration/refactoring
• Knowledge of Business Central APIs, API v2.0, REST/JSON, OAuth 2.0 & Entra ID
• Experience with VS Code, Git, Postman, Azure DevOps (or equivalent)
• Based in Malaysia; strong written/verbal English

Preferred

• Microsoft certification in Business Central development
• Experience integrating BC with ERP/CRM/e-commerce/middleware platforms
• Familiarity with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, or webhooks

Contract

12-month contract. Extension or conversion to a permanent role may be considered subject to business needs, performance, and management review.
