Retail Sales Assistant (Electronics & E-Commerce)

Working Hours

Working Days: 6 days per week
Rest Day: 1 weekday

Weekdays (Monday – Friday):

• 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Weekends / Public Holidays (Rotational):

• Shift 1: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Shift 2: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist walk-in customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Understand customers' needs and recommend suitable audio, video, and electronic accessories.
• Explain product features, specifications, and promotions to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Process sales transactions through cash, card, and e-wallet payment methods.
• Maintain product displays, shop cleanliness, and overall store presentation.
• Perform stock checking, replenishment, and inventory organization.
• Assist in packing and preparing online orders for shipment.
• Manage and monitor the company's Shopee store, including updating product listings when required.
• Reply to customer enquiries and provide after-sales support through Shopee chat in a timely and professional manner.
• Coordinate online orders, order status updates, and ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Follow company SOPs and carry out duties assigned by the Store Manager.
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily retail and e-commerce operations.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma (higher qualifications are an advantage).
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Mandarin is an added advantage, as the role involves serving customers at Plaza Low Yat.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Retail, electronics, or e-commerce experience is an advantage, but training will be provided.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Shopee or other e-commerce platforms are a plus.
