Responsibilities
Job Summary / Purpose
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily shift operations to ensure smooth service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence. The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for supporting the team, implementing company policies, and executing directives from the Restaurant Manager to meet sales targets and drive profitability based on restaurant needs, team performance, and customer expectations.
In the absence of the Restaurant Manager, the Assistant Restaurant Manager will assume full responsibility for the outlet’s operations, ensuring all standards and procedures are upheld.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
1. Assist and monitor plans and changes implemented by the Restaurant Manager to enable to achieve annual sales budget for the restaurant as set by the company.
2. Supervise the crew and supervisors during the shift to ensure customer satisfaction while driving sales and profitability.
3. Ensure there is sufficient staff on shift to meet customer, business, and team needs
4. Ensure continued compliance of all company policies and procedures by everyone in the restaurant team during the shift.
5. Carry out planned training and development activities for employees during the shift to improve employee motivation which can contribute to customer satisfaction, people development, sales, and profit.
Primary Objectives
1. Monitor action plans implemented by the Restaurant Manager to ensure it is being carried out during the shift.
2. Conduct daily, monthly & periodic in-house audits where required to ensure policies and procedures are complied
3. Monitor and evaluate new preparation and product training to ensure all procedures and standards are followed.
4. Monitors in-house LSM activities to ensure they contribute positively towards the restaurant Conduct daily checks to ensure product quality, cleanliness of facility, and customer service standards have complied with company requirements business.
5. Recommend potential crews for development training and upgrading to ensure continuous development
6. Assist RM in initiating and executing the recruitment drive to ensure there is sufficient manpower in the restaurant
7. Supervise and checks to ensure that the security and audit procedures are complied during the shift as per company requirements.
8. Completes daily administrative paperwork as required by the company.
9. Actively involved in dining and interacting with customer and staff
10. Ensuring all products are prepared and served as per SOP guideline
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
