Job Responsibilities:

As the Manager of Data & Analytics Delivery, you will lead the establishment and growth of Arkema's Malaysia delivery hub, ensuring high-quality delivery of enterprise data and analytics solutions while developing a high-performing technical team.

Job responsibilities :

• Establish Malaysia as the primary delivery hub for Arkema's global Data & Analytics function.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Data & Analytics team across Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Platform Support.
• Drive successful delivery of enterprise data platform initiatives while ensuring alignment with global architecture, governance, and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with global stakeholders across multiple regions to ensure seamless project execution and knowledge sharing.
• Build team capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and continuous learning initiatives.
• Improve delivery efficiency, operational excellence, and technical standards across the organization.
• Support digital transformation initiatives by providing technical leadership and operational expertise.
• Foster strong collaboration with business and technical stakeholders while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Data & Analytics, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or related functions.
• At least 3 years of experience leading technical teams in a delivery or operations environment.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise data platforms, BI, or analytics solutions within multinational or matrix organizations.
• Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience working with distributed teams across multiple regions.
• Experience establishing or scaling Delivery Centers or Capability Centers is an added advantage.
• Experience within manufacturing, industrial, or specialty chemical industries is preferred.

• Proven ability to build, mentor, and develop high-performing technical teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business functions.
• Strong project and delivery management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with Snowflake or equivalent cloud data platforms.
• Advanced SQL and data modelling knowledge.
• Experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence platforms.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT development and data pipeline design.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with AWS or Azure data services is an advantage.
• Python programming for data engineering and automation is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP BW, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA, DataOps, MLOps, DevOps, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and Data Governance frameworks will be an added advantage.

Language Requirements:

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.
• French language proficiency will be an added advantage.
