This role drives sales growth for NS BlueScope Lysaght Malaysia by managing key customer accounts, acquiring new clients, and executing sales strategies. It requires strong industry knowledge, relationship-building skills, and the ability to develop strategic sales plans and joint partner initiatives with clear objectives and targets.

Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy & Execution – Set and implement sales plans aligned with company goals and market share ambitions.
• Customer Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with key market players and manage key accounts. specifically metal roofers, steel fabricators, metal roof installers, and industrial building contractors.
• Performance & Target Achievement – Achieve monthly sales targets through trend-based portfolio management and proactive sales actions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with operations, finance, and marketing teams to ensure smooth project and service delivery.
• Market Intelligence & Growth – Monitor market trends and competitors, refine strategies, and maximize customer satisfaction through upselling and cross-selling

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the steel or building materials industry with strong knowledge of product applications.
• Established relationships with metal roofers, installers, fabricators, and industrial contractors.
• Proven key account management and high-value sales closure skills.
• Highly preferred: experience in metal, steel, or aluminum roofing sales; candidates with networks in related roofing products (e.g., fasteners, skylights, insulation, steel structures) will be added advantage.
