Job Responsibilities:

•       Ensure the network infrastructure is highly available, secure, and optimized for performance

·        Design, configure, implement, and maintain XR's network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks.

•       Work with ISPs, AWS and other vendors to resolve network problems

•       Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation for future reference and knowledge transfer. This includes network diagrams, standards, guidelines, policies.

•       Propose and implement technology enhancements that will improve the network's performance, reliability, and scalability.

•       Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of network solutions with other systems and environments.

•       Continuously monitor and assess network performance, identifying and troubleshooting potential issues proactively.

•       Oversees and assesses information security for multiple network security technologies and enforces security policies through management of Network Access Control devices

•       Administration of the global network infrastructure spanning offices across the globe and multiple AWS environments

•       Become the go-to person for any networking-related issues/queries

•       Monitor and be hands-on when network issues arise in any of our global sites seeing the issue through to resolution.

Required:

·        In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security concepts.

·        Strong understanding of network architecture, network optimization, and network security best practices

·        Experienced knowledge of Cisco, Fortinet, and Meraki product offerings, configuration, and related security services

·        Extensive knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switch configurations, and firewalls in a global enterprise environment

·        Strong experience with cloud networking concepts within AWS

·        Basic familiarity with PowerShell, Python, BASH, and/or other scripting languages.

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or STEM field

·        At least 5 years of related professional experience in Networking and at least 10 years of related professional experience will be considered

·        Experience with IT Service Management tools such as Jira or Service Now.

·        Experience with Service Management practices - such as Request Management, Incident Management, etc.

·        Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

·        Occasional after-hours support to accommodate the needs of the business
