Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the settlement work of construction projects, including cost accounting in all aspects.
• Coordinate settlement matters with suppliers and contractors, ensuring accurate and timely payment and collection.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and tender submissions.
• Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate and compare supplier/subcontractor pricing.
• Prepare project budgets and monitor project costs.
• Perform quantity take-offs based on construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate closely with the Project, Design, and Site Teams.
• Handle progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in building construction, refurbishment, renovation, or waterproofing is an added advantage.
• Able to interpret construction drawings and prepare accurate quantity take-offs.
• Strong negotiation, procurement, and cost management skills.
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and strong communication skills.
