About the Role
Join our team as a Youth Worker (Student Management) and make a positive impact in students' lives. You will work closely with teachers and school staff to support students' social, emotional and behavioural development through mentoring, student engagement and behavioural intervention.
Working Hours (School Term)
Mon: 2.00pm – 5.00pm
Tue: 12.00pm – 3.00pm
Wed: 2.00pm – 5.00pm
Thu: 12.00pm – 3.00pm
Fri: 11.30am – 2.30pm
Hours may vary based on school operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Mentor and engage students through individual and group sessions.
Support student behaviour management and discipline.
Conduct basic counselling and behavioural intervention.
Assist with investigations, conflict resolution and documentation.
Maintain case records and prepare reports.
Liaise with teachers and school staff.
Conduct home visits when required.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Diploma in Youth Work, Psychology, Counselling, Education, Behavioural Science, Social Services or related fields.
Passionate about working with children and youths.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in schools, FSCs, counselling or youth work is an advantage.
