About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Presales Engineer / Solution Architect (Low Voltage & ICT Infrastructure) to lead the design and development of end-to-end technology solutions for our clients. This role will be responsible for translating business requirements into integrated low voltage and ICT infrastructure solutions, supporting the sales team in technical consultations, proposal preparation, solution presentations, and project handovers.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with commercial acumen and is passionate about delivering innovative, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

1) Solution Architecture & Design

• Develop comprehensive Low Voltage (LV) and ICT infrastructure solutions based on customer requirements.
• Prepare solution architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and bill of quantities (BOQ).
• Design and integrate systems including:

a) Structured Cabling Systems (SCS)

b) LAN/WAN Networking

c) Wi-Fi Solutions

d) Data Centre Infrastructure

e) CCTV & Video Surveillance

f) Access Control Systems

g) Public Address (PA) Systems

h) IP Telephony

i) Audio Visual (AV) Systems

j) Building Management Systems (BMS)

k) Smart Building Technologies

l) Security & ELV Systems

2) Presales Support

• Work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs and business opportunities.
• Conduct site surveys, requirement gathering, and technical assessments.
• Deliver technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and customer workshops.
• Prepare technical proposals, tender responses, and compliance documents.
• Provide solution costing, sizing, and vendor selection recommendations.

3) Technical Leadership

• Act as the primary technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.
• Evaluate new technologies, products, and industry trends.
• Liaise with vendors, consultants, contractors, and end users.
• Support project implementation teams during project handover and execution.

Job Requirements:

a) Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ICT Infrastructure, ELV, Low Voltage, System Integration, or Solution Design.
• Proven experience in presales, solution architecture, or technical consultancy roles.
• Professional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, PMP, CDCP, CTS, or relevant ICT/ELV certifications.
• Experience with smart building and digital transformation projects.
• Exposure to enterprise, commercial, government, or industrial environments.

b) Technical Competencies

• Strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure and Low Voltage systems.
• Understanding of networking, data centre technologies, cybersecurity fundamentals, and structured cabling standards.
• Experience in tender preparation, technical proposal writing, and solution costing.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices.
• Ability to read construction drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents.

c) Soft Skills

• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer engagement abilities.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
