Responsibilities

Job Description – Site Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book Holder)Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor all daily site activities to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health (OSH) regulations and company safety policies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure all employees, contractors, and subcontractors wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Enforce site safety rules and safe work practices to minimize workplace accidents and injuries.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare investigation reports, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Organize and conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and safety training programs for site personnel.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and other site safety initiatives.
  • Receive, evaluate, and respond promptly to safety concerns raised by employees and contractors.
  • Maintain all safety-related records, permits, inspection reports, and statutory documentation.
  • Liaise with project management, clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities on safety matters.
  • Monitor compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), relevant regulations, and project safety requirements.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and continuously recommend improvements to enhance workplace safety.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid NIOSH Safety and Health Officer (SHO) Yellow Book (registered with DOSH/JKKP Malaysia).
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor/Safety & Health Officer in the construction industry.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations and construction safety practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to prepare safety reports and conduct safety briefings and training.
  • Willing to work at construction sites and travel when required.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
