Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, design objectives, and space utilization needs.
• Conduct site inspections, building surveys, and feasibility assessments to support design planning and development.
• Research design trends, materials, finishes, and technical solutions aligned with project goals.
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, space planning layouts, and presentation materials.
• Prepare sketches, detailed drawings, and comprehensive design documentation.
• Specify materials, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and finishes suitable for project requirements.
• Create and deliver professional digital presentations and design proposals for client and management review.
• Support project planning activities including scope definition, design requirements, budgeting, and value engineering exercises.
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, contractors, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical advice, design recommendations, and progress updates.
• Monitor site activities to ensure design intent, quality standards, and project requirements are achieved.
• Resolve design-related issues during project execution through site visits and technical support.
• Review drawings, shop drawings, and material samples to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
• Manage assigned projects to ensure delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
• Provide guidance and support to junior designers and assist with overseas projects when required.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of interior design experience, preferably in commercial projects.
• Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent tools.
• Strong technical expertise in design development, detailing, documentation, and site coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and project stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English is required; Mandarin language capability will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel and support regional or overseas projects when necessary.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
