An Insurtech start-up is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join their team.

Your new role

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Design and deliver end-to-end NLP/LLM and agentic AI solutions for healthcare applications.
• Translate business workflows into scalable AI architectures, including RAG, classification, and agents.
• Build and optimize LLM pipelines, prompts, and retrieval systems for accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.
• Develop evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and monitoring systems to ensure quality and safety.
• Productionize AI systems with MLOps, observability, and cost/latency optimization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, mentor team members, and ensure compliance with responsible AI standards.

What you’ll need to succeed

• 8+ years’ experience in data architecture, 2+ years in building production AI/ML systems, with strong NLP/LLM expertise.
• Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, SQL, and reproducible data workflows.
• Deep knowledge of LLMs, transformers, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Expertise in model optimization, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks.
• Solid software engineering, MLOps, cloud (Azure Databricks), and containerization skills.
• Strong focus on responsible AI, data governance, cross-functional collaboration, and analytical problem-solving.
