An Insurtech start-up is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join their team.

Your new role

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for:

• Design end-to-end ML solutions by translating business problems into scalable AI systems.
• Perform data exploration and feature engineering on large, complex healthcare datasets.
• Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models with reproducible and scalable pipelines.
• Productionize models with MLOps, monitoring, drift detection, and retraining strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a technical subject matter expert.
• Ensure responsible AI practices, data governance, and regulatory compliance across workflows.

What you’ll need to succeed

• 8+ years’ experience in data science, with preference for PhD and Azure certifications.
• Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, SQL, and reproducible data workflows.
• Expertise in ML, statistics, deep learning, NLP, time series, and GenAI applications.
• Strong analytical rigor with experience in evaluation frameworks, experimentation, and trade-off decisions.
• Proven experience in model deployment, MLOps, scalability, and lifecycle management.
• Focus on responsible AI, data governance, cloud platforms (Azure), and cross-functional collaboration.
