Key Responsibilities

- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to perform quality inspections.

- Conduct First Article Inspection(FAI), incoming, in-process, and final inspections using various metrology equipment.

- Perform dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).

- Prepare and maintain inspection records in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).

- Operate, maintain, and verify the calibration status of measuring instruments.

- Perform visual inspections in accordance with engineering specifications and work instructions.

- Maintain cleanliness of inspection equipment, machines, and the workplace, ensuring a high standard of housekeeping.

- Participate in quality improvement, cost reduction, workplace safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Report inspection results and non-conformances promptly to the Quality Supervisor.

Requirements

- Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or GCE 'O' Level with at least 2 years of experience in CMM inspection.

- Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM); knowledge of Hexagon PC-DMIS and Zeiss CALYPSO programming software is an advantage.

- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, with sound knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

- Familiarity with common measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.

- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

- Willingness to work rotating shifts.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.

- Able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility while also being an effective team player.
