Brief Description:
As a BIM Modeller at GWS Living Art, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, design, and implementation of our urban greening and sustainability projects. You will work closely with our design and project teams to produce accurate, detailed BIM models and technical drawings that bring our nature-based solutions to life in urban spaces.
Your responsibilities will involve producing and managing digital models for green infrastructure systems, assisting with design coordination, and contributing to technical innovation in the built environment.
Job Description:
Develop, manage, and update BIM models and technical drawings for green infrastructure, architectural, and landscape projects.
Collaborate with internal teams - including Operation and Project Department, Design and Development Department, Contracts Department, to ensure accurate design interpretation and model coordination, when required.
Translate conceptual ideas and engineers’ sketches into accurate and buildable technical drawings.
Annotate and dimension details in line with company drafting standards.
Review BIM models and drawings to ensure compliance with design intent, technical accuracy, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate BIM work with external consultants and stakeholders across various disciplines.
Maintain BIM standards, libraries, templates, and documentation workflows.
Conduct clash detection and propose practical solutions to resolve design conflicts.
Support tender submissions by preparing accurate 3D models and drawing packages.
Participate in site visits and coordination meetings to validate model accuracy and implementation.
Proactively identify potential issues and propose improvements during the design development process.
Assist with other ad hoc duties as required.
Job Requirement:
Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in BIM modelling or technical drafting, ideally in built environment or green infrastructure projects.
Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM software.
Knowledge of construction methods and technical detailing.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Flexibility to work after office hours and on weekends when necessary.
