Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities (Includes but not limited to):

1. Pinspotter Maintenance & Repair

Perform routine inspections, adjustments, troubleshooting, and repairs on Qubica AMF pinspotters, covering all major mechanical assemblies, electrical subsystems, and related components.

2. Lane Maintenance & Conditioning

A) Operate the lane-conditioning machine to ensure proper stripping and the precise application of approved lane oil patterns.

B) Inspect, maintain, and clean bowling approaches regularly to ensure optimal slide conditions and safety for bowlers.

3. Preventive Maintenance (PM)

Execute daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment reliability and minimize operational downtime.

4. Corrective Maintenance & Component Care

Inspect, service, and repair automated bumper systems, performing immediate component replacements or structural fixes as needed.

5. Emergency Troubleshooting & Operational Support

Respond promptly to lane service calls("stop calls") during live bowling operations to safely clear pin jams, troubleshoot mechanical faults, and restore play efficiently.

6. Safety, Housekeeping, and Workshop Standards

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment across the pit area, workshop, and back-end machine bays in strict compliance with facility and occupational safety standards.

7. Inventory Control & Administration

Assist with spare parts inventory management, tracking stock levels, and reporting replenishment needs to ensure seamless workshop operations.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

  • NTC 2 or NTC 3 certification (or equivalent) in a relevant secondary school technical discipline.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical systems.
  • Preferably with prior hands-on experience within the bowling industry (pinsetters, lane maintenance machinery, scoring system)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective coordination with team members and guests.
  • Able to work shifts, weekends, PH and overtime.
