Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software.
• Develop fabrication, shop, installation, and as-built drawings for mechanical, piping, HVAC, cleanroom, and utility systems.
• Interpret engineering designs, specifications, and project requirements to produce accurate drawings.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineers' comments, site conditions, and client instructions.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure drawings are accurate and up to date.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare material schedules when required.
• Maintain proper document control and ensure all drawing revisions are recorded and distributed correctly.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and existing conditions when necessary.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project specifications, and relevant Singapore codes and regulations.
• Assist in preparing technical submissions and documentation for client approval.
• Support project teams throughout the project lifecycle until final completion.

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of drafting experience in construction, mechanical, piping, HVAC, or semiconductor projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD. Knowledge of Revit, SolidWorks, Navisworks, or BIM software is an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good understanding of mechanical systems, HVAC ducting, piping layouts, and construction detailing.
• Familiarity with cleanroom and semiconductor projects will be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
• Proficient in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Working Site - Tampines
