We are looking for a driven, solution-focused Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Assistant Project Manager, you won't just be watching from the sidelines—you will play a key role in delivering complex electrical installation projects from planning through to completion. Working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams, you will ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Lead Successful Project Delivery: Coordinate and supervise site teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Monitor progress proactively to resolve technical and site-related challenges before they arise.
Drive Project Performance: Manage project budgets, monitor costs, prepare monthly progress claims, and support financial forecasting. Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization without compromising quality.
Be the Technical Expert: Coordinate Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities to ensure systems perform as designed. Provide technical guidance on equipment selection, installation methodologies, and conduct smooth system handovers to clients.
Build Strong Client Relationships: Represent the company with confidence during technical discussions and progress meetings with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
Promote Safety & Quality: Partner with our Safety team to enforce top-tier Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards, ensuring full compliance on site.
Support Team Success: Mentor junior engineers and site personnel, sharing technical knowledge to foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Education:
Experience:
The more experience you possess in managing electrical installation works within Singapore's construction industry is an advantage.
Hands-on experience delivering turnkey and Addition & Alteration (A&A) projects is a strong plus.
Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of electrical installation, site coordination, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project. Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or REVIT is an advantage.
Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills in English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients, consultants, or trade partners.
Mindset: Proactive, adaptable, and willing to work primarily on project sites to drive key milestones.
