Software Engineer

Job Description

****Responsibilities****

• Perform full lifecycle software development (design, develop, test prototypes, debug and implement) for equipment across multiple product lines.

• Develop and maintain software tools for Brooks equipment by working with engineering teams in Germany or in Taiwan.

• Collaborate with application engineers to define specifications for developing software features that help users to identify and resolve domain-specific problems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in deployed software applications.

• Ensure reliability, availability, and maintainability of the software.

• Respond to emergencies and manage changes from customer side.

• Cross functional discussion and collaboration.

• Travel to customer cleanrooms for installations and onsite troubleshooting.
  

****Skills and Capabilities****

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields.

• Experience writing Desktop application in .Net environment

• In depth knowledge of object-oriented programming (preferably C++, C#), and Visual Studio IDE.

• Advanced level in C# .Net, WPF

• Intermediate level in SQL and Linq

• Experience in semiconductor industry and knowledge of SEMI standards.

• Experience with the Agile methodology and tools like Azure DevOps, Git, and Confluence.

• Ability to independently become familiar with issues, prioritize tasks, and drive solutions without direct supervision.

• A drive to continuously learn and improve.

• Be able to work together with global team is a plus.
  

Salary Ranges

NT$1,357,919.48 TWD to NT$1,837,185.18 TWD
