About the Role
This position reports to the Executive Chef. The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for providing housekeeping, hospitality and general support services at the Official Residence of the High Commissioner of Canada in Singapore.
The role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation and readiness of the Official Residence. The incumbent supports official events and hospitality functions, assists with housekeeping and guest service duties, and contributes to the smooth day-to-day operation of the residence.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
· Housekeeping Services: Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness and presentation of the Official Residence, including laundry and linen care, and the care and upkeep of tableware, furnishings and other residence assets.
· Hospitality Support: Support official functions, receptions, meetings and other hospitality events, including event setup, food and beverage service, and assistance with event preparations.
· Guest Services: Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests and visitors at the Official Residence.
· Supplies and Inventory: Monitor and maintain housekeeping supplies, equipment and household inventories.
· Residence Operations: Support the day-to-day operation of the Official Residence, including coordinating purchases, deliveries and service providers as required.
· Maintenance and Safety: Identify and report maintenance issues and follow established health, safety and security procedures.
· General Support: Perform other related duties in support of the Official Residence and hospitality program.
