French Gastronomic Restaurant, Bangsar, KL

POSITION

Experienced Server (Lunch & Dinner – Full-Time)

Salary: RM 2,800 – RM 3,100/month (based on experience)

ELIGIBILITY

Other visa statuses cannot be processed.

THE ROLE

We're a French gastronomic restaurant in Bangsar serving diverse clientele (locals, expats, tourists) at high standards. We seek an experienced, independent server who manages tables with finesse, recommends wines confidently, and maintains consistent service excellence.

Operating Hours:

• Monday–Tuesday: Closed
• Wednesday–Sunday: Split shift (11 AM–2:30 PM lunch, 5–10:30 PM dinner)
• 45 hours/week contract basis

RESPONSIBILITIES

Before Service: Set up dining room, clean restrooms, attend briefing on specials/allergies, review wine list

During Service: Greet & seat guests, suggest beverages, describe menu specials, take orders, recommend wine pairings, serve professionally, manage table rhythm, engage guests, handle concerns diplomatically, process payments

After Service: Clear & clean tables, sweep dining area, sort cutlery/glassware, stack chairs, secure restaurant

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must-Have:

• Minimum 3 years F&B/gastronomic experience (verifiable references)
• Fluent English (written & spoken)
• Reliable, punctual, professional demeanor
• Independent table management & multi-tasking
• Wine knowledge or willingness to learn
• Valid Malaysian work authorization

Nice-to-Have:

• Mandarin or French
• Fine-dining or French restaurant background
• Sommelier training
