Job Title: Finance Executive
Location: Efficient RE Sdn Bhd, Bukit Jelutong
Reporting to: Group Finance Manager

Job Summary:

The Finance Executive will handle day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support strategic decision-making within a Public listed company.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Payable:

• Responsible for a daily routine AP functions to ensure payments are paid on time.
• Match PO and DO, if any to invoice and posting into system.
• Liaise and follow up with relevant parties such as Procurement and Vendors to solve AP and payment related matters; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance.
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statement (vendor reconciliation).
• Ensure supplier records are properly maintained, the credit terms are being verified, and the SST are captured as according to the SST Act.
• Make sure control schedules are always up-to-date.

Accounts Receivable:

• Liaise with the organizations sales teams to carry out timely invoicing of customers.
• Collect overdue payments and resolve payment issues highlighted by customers.
• Generate and send out invoices.
• Perform debtor reconciliation.
• Review AR aging to ensure compliance
• Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.

Key Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are an added advantage.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in finance and accounting.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Entry-level candidates, including fresh graduates, are welcome to apply this position.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
