Responsibilities

This role will be end-to-end software quality assurance processes including test planning, test case development, functional testing, usability testing, regression testing, system integration testing via manual and automation testing web applications for SEB’s Technology Division business unit. You will be part of a team that is responsible for new application development and improving existing applications to meet the changing needs of our business and customers. Also, participate in testing strategy and processes. You will be part of a development team that will drive the continual improvement of product quality. Goal: To ensure that the business requirement analysis and software testing process is implemented so that application releases meet user requirements with reduced errors and inconsistencies. You will be working in a Scrum/Agile, LEAF development environment and are therefore expected to contribute beyond a traditional developer’s role by providing creative solutions to the business problem being solved.
Qualifications:
Technical Requirements (Must Have): • Experience with test automation • Test automation scripting (e.g. Selenium, C#, JavaScript/Typescript) • Experience in Manual testing (Functional Test, SIT and UAT) • Experience in Frontend & Backend Testing • Experience in test planning, writing test cases and functional testing • Requirement gathering and analysis • Attention to detail in test coverage and good business logic. • Had exposure in Agile/ Scrum Technical Requirements (Good to Have): • Experience in test management tools (e.g. Jira) • Experience and knowledge in building and maintaining test automation framework • Experience in Database queries would be an advantage • Advantage if you have an ISTQB/ISEB certification or equivalent • Advantage if you have knowledge in Playwright • Working exposure in CI/CD pipeline (e.g. Able to deploy Branch for testing) • Continuous improvement and optimization of existing codebase Soft Skills Requirements: • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills • A self-starter with minimal supervision • Solid team player • Attitude to learn and execute • Analytical problem-solving skills • Like to work in a dynamic environment • Work autonomously and attentive to details • Outspoken / outgoing / driver / motivator / able to inspire the team
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
